Thinkium and the Metaverse
The metaverse can be defined as a simulated digital environment that uses augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and blockchain, along with concepts from social media, to create spaces for rich user interaction mimicking the real world.
Think Ready Player One, but more accessible and pragmatic. Think social media as it exists today, but more integrated and immersive. The notion of the metaverse — recently propelled into the mainstream by Facebook’s rebranding as Meta — will transform how we inhabit the world around us.
Let’s look into the Thinkium metaverse
Thinkium metaverse is made of four layers:
The hardware-layer
The metaverse, which is a virtual representation of the real world, is supported by the hardware layer. This layer, consisting of decentralized interconnected computers and network devices, makes way for a solid foundation for the entire metaverse.
2. The core-layer
The core layer of the metaverse is the most critical part of the metaverse. This layer is also known as the Thinkium layer and it is based on blockchain techniques, the core layer is able to construct a reliable, integrated, and trustworthy world.
This layer is 100% transparent and can be examined at any time because the breeding process is recorded in an irreversible, verifiable, and trackable way for every step. All clients have their own identification systems that can be controlled by themselves independently. The core layer runs many different user-driven and irreversible rules, and all produced data and resources are indispensable elements in the metaverse.
Blockchains constructed based on Thinkium protocols could join the metaverse’s core layer credibly thanks to this Thinkium protocol. Dutle to this, the core layer includes many chains, which are built on mutual trust and interconnected data. The core layer is formed of different interconnected virtual spaces that play various roles, such as identification space (identification chain), social space (social chain), governance space (DAO chain), finance space (DeFi chain), gamespace(GameFi chain),assets space (assets distribution and trade chain), storage space (distributed memory chain), assets bridge space (bridge chain), etc. The interconnection among spaces is reliable, with all different elements and rules flexibly flowing within them.
3. The universal computation layer
The universal computation layer provides the required rule computation and data storage, especially efficient computation rules and large storage space , including digitalized real world data, and connects with the core layer (the metaverse’s core layer) in multiple ways (e.g. the consensus space of the permission based blockchain).
4. The interaction layer
Every metaverse user can control their account and execute various operations based on Apps, webs, AR/VR, or other interaction devices on their PCs or smart phones.
The Thinkium metaverse is built upon the people-oriented virtual world. The essential human-related data and rules are stored in the metaverse’s core layer. The less human-related upper-layer application data and rapidly-changing intermediate data are stored in the interaction layer and connected with the core layer through some strategies (e.g. through samples or results, based on hash, or consortium chains).
Metaverse may exist as a gaming carrier without the combination of the blockchain’s technology. However, blockchain provides a bridge to connect both the visual world and reality and transfer the metaverse from the visual world to a parallel universe.
Based on the rapid pace of the digital world development, people need to admit that they are getting closer and closer to the ideal metaverse. The initial design of the TKM public chain is dedicated to developing the block website’s fundamental structure and then carried out to widening applicable features.
